Attention ROC Customers

EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2012, CONTRACTORS ATTEMPTING LICENSE RENEWALS THAT HAVE CERTIFICATES OF DEPOSIT (CDs) ON FILE IN LIEU OF SURETY OR CASH BONDS must provide the most recent bank statement from the issuing financial institution that the Certificate of Deposit (CD) is current and in good standing pursuant to ARS 32-1152.A & ARS 32-1152.01.A or provide a cash or surety bond instead.

A Note About Pop-up Windows

The ROC utilizes pop-up windows as a tool to make navigation of our website more user friendly. Videos, images or PDFs may be displayed in a pop-up window. Some pop-up blockers will prevent user generated pop-up windows from opening. It is suggested that you configure your pop-up blocker to allow pop-ups while visiting the ROC website.
  1. I click a link and nothing happens
    It might be your popup blocker. If you are using a Firefox or Internet Explorer pop-up blocker, follow the instructions below to allow pop-ups only from ROC.



    » Internet Explorer

    tools > popup blocker > popup blocker settings
    1. On the top toolbar select Tools > Pop-up Blocker > Pop-up Blocker Settings


    2. In the first text box, enter
      http://www.azroc.gov then Click Add
    		 enter http://www.azroc.gov in the first text box > Add


    » Firefox

    a. From the top menu, select "Tools" then "Options" From the top menu, select "Tools" then "Options"
    b. An option box will pop up. Select the "Content" icon, then click the "Exceptions" button next to the "Block Pop-up Windows" option An option box will pop up. Select the "Content" icon, then click the "Exceptions" button next to the "Block Pop-up Windows" option
    c. Another options box should pop up. Type http://www.azroc.gov into the text box and click "Allow" Another options box should pop up. Type http://www.azroc.gov into the text box and click "Allow"


  2. How do I download a file without opening it?
    Are you having problems opening forms or documents in Adobe Acrobat or would rather not open them in the first place?

    a. For all browsers, start by right clicking on the link

    b. Choose the appropriate option for your browser. If you are using ...

    Internet Explorer - "Save Target As"

    Firefox - "Save Link As"

    Safari - "Download Linked File As"

    c. Save the file to your desktop or a folder/directory of your choice.
  3. I search for a contractor and after looking at one or two records, the links stop working.
    Workaround:

    Unfortunately, we do not have a fix for this problem which seems to affect some IE browers. However; you may not need to shut down and restart the browser, a refresh usually works to allow access to additional links.
